Interesting Camera Shot

This is one of my favorite Bollywood movie, Om Shanti Om. It stares my all time favorite male actor, Shah Rukh Kha. Through out this movie it's super colorful and bright. This is a close up shot of the main characters meeting each other for the first time, it was love at first sight. Close up shots are very important when you want to capture the characters' reaction to someone or something. I love this shot because of focus on the character's face and the blurred of the background. It was such a magical scene, just the two of them focus and everything else blurred like nothing else matter, though at this particular scene she was walking on the red carpet to attend her movie premier. It was so romantic!

Response to The 400 Blows on Visual Style

It's been a long time since I last watched a movie in black and white. The 400 Blows was a very interesting movie. I love the introduction of this movie. It was like I was in the car taking a tour of Paris. I also notice many high angle shots. The first one would be when Antoine and his friend ditch school to the Amusement park. There was a high angle shots looking down on Antoine while he was in the gravity ride.

While he was in this ride instead of being boring like the other riders he was turning upside down and moving around. Honestly I would never get inside a ride like this! While watching this scene I wanted to puke. I'm not into rides that turns in circle. Another scene of high angle would be when the class took gym around the city, they were jogging. It was hilarious watching students take turn running into stores and how the teacher had no clue to what was going on.
